A useful trade or sale list should be easy to open and difficult to misunderstand. A Foilio share link lets another person view one card or a whole binder in a browser without installing the app or creating an account.

The link is best for catalog information: card versions, quantities, finishes, and the contents of a binder. It does not replace photographs of the physical cards when condition matters.

Share One Card

Open the card in Foilio, tap •••, and choose Share. Send the generated link through the phone’s share menu or copy it wherever you need it.

The browser page identifies the catalog card you selected. Before sending it, verify the printing and finish. If you are discussing a sale or trade, add current front-and-back photographs and describe any wear separately.

Share a Binder

Open a binder, use its menu, and choose Share Binder. The recipient sees the shared contents as a browser page and does not need a Foilio account.

Create a binder around the recipient’s purpose. “For trade,” “Cards for sale,” or a specific set is easier to understand than exposing an unrelated part of the collection. Keep wishlist cards separate from cards you own.

When you add or remove cards in the shared binder, the same link shows its current contents. That makes it useful as an ongoing trade list, but it also means changes are immediately visible to anyone who still has the address.

Check Before You Send

Review the shared page as the recipient will see it. Confirm quantities, exact printings, and foil status. Remove cards that are no longer available and give the binder a clear name.

Catalog artwork is not evidence of condition or ownership. For a valuable physical copy, send photographs taken under good light. If price is part of the conversation, agree on the market, currency, condition, and date instead of assuming the displayed reference settles the deal.

Anyone who receives the URL may be able to pass it on. Share only the cards and binder contents you are comfortable showing. Do not put addresses, contact details, payment information, or private notes in a shared binder name.

If the audience changes, create a dedicated binder rather than reusing a broad collection view. A narrow list is clearer for the recipient and reveals less unrelated information.

Stop Sharing When You Are Finished

Open the card or binder menu and turn sharing off when the link is no longer needed. A revoked address should no longer display the shared collection content.

Revocation is useful after a sale, at the end of a trade event, or whenever an old list has circulated beyond its intended audience. If you need to share again later, generate a new link from the current card or binder.

A share link works best as a live catalog window: prepare a focused binder, verify its contents, send physical photographs where necessary, and revoke access when the conversation is over.
