Foilio 1.3.0 brings two things: shareable links for your cards and binders, and four new languages. Here’s what’s in it.

Open a card, tap ”•••” and pick Share. For a binder, open its menu and pick Share Binder. Foilio creates a link and opens your phone’s sharing menu, so you can send it in a message, post it, or just copy it.

Anyone can open the link in a browser. No app, no account, nothing to install.

A shared card shows its artwork, set, collector number, rarity and the price for each finish. A shared binder shows its cards with their prices and which finishes the owner has, in the same order the owner sees in the app. Tap any card to view it full size.

Shared pages do not display your account name, email address, profile picture, or collection total. A binder name is visible, so avoid including personal information you do not want to share.

Links include a preview image and title that messaging apps can display when you share them.

Every link you create is listed in Settings → Sharing, split between Binders and Cards.

  • The button on the right of each row copies the link.
  • Tapping the row offers Share again and Revoke link.

Links don’t expire. Revoking one stops it working for everyone who has it, and sharing that card again gives you a new link, so the original link remains unavailable. Revoking cannot remove copies or previews that recipients or messaging services have already saved.

Five Languages

Foilio now speaks English, Czech, German, Polish and Spanish.

On first launch it follows your phone’s language, and falls back to English if that isn’t one of the five. You can change it any time in Settings → Language.

Prices, dates and numbers follow the language too. Card names, set names, your binder names and collector terms like foil, the rarities and treatments such as Borderless stay as they are in every language.

Also in This Release

  • Fixed a scanner startup issue that could previously require restarting the app.
  • Messages now show success and failure in different colors.
