Foilio 1.5.0 gives you more control over the Overview, introduces notifications you choose for yourself, and connects card details with shops where you can buy cards. It also adds four languages, a new sound palette, and a much faster start for larger collections.
Make the Overview Yours
The Overview has new ways to explore your collection at a glance. Finishes and rarities now have clearer value breakdowns, graded cards appear as the slabs themselves, and set completion is shown separately for regular and foil cards. The sets closest to completion also have a more visual view, so it is easier to see where the next few cards will make the biggest difference.
You decide which of these widgets belong on your Overview. Open Settings → Overview widgets to hide the ones you do not need or drag them into a different order. Your total collection value stays at the top, while the rest of the screen follows the way you collect.
Notifications That Start With Your Choice
Foilio can now let you know when something important happens to your collection. Everything starts switched off, and the app asks for notification permission only after you choose a channel.
- Price alerts tell you about a significant move in your collection or a price drop on a card in a wishlist.
- Weekly recap summarizes the value of your collection and its biggest movement.
- New sets tells you when a new set or Secret Lair drop is released.
- News and tips covers occasional Foilio updates.
Notifications arrive in the morning in your time zone. You can turn each channel on or off separately under Settings → Notifications.
From a Card to a Shop
Foilio now treats Cardmarket, TCGplayer, and local card shops as one network. The first local partner is Najáda for collectors in Czechia.
Enabled shops appear directly below a card, so you can continue from checking a printing and its price to looking for a copy. Sealed products that include the card have their own page with the available shop links as well.
Open Settings → Shops to choose which stores you want to see and change your region. Foilio can suggest a local shop from your phone’s region or, when you ask it to, your location. The final choice always stays with you.
Najáda customers can also export a binder or collection as a ready-to-upload order list. Larger lists are split automatically to fit the shop’s import limit.
Foilio Now Speaks Nine Languages
French, Italian, Dutch, and Japanese join English, Czech, German, Polish, and Spanish. You can switch the app language in Settings → Language.
The Japanese translation also includes localized names for rarities and card treatments, so the collection does not fall back to English labels where they matter most.
Sounds for Faster Scanning
The scanner now confirms a recognized card with sound, which is useful when your eyes are on the next card rather than the screen. Rapid mode changes the tone as the batch grows, and adding, removing, or confirming cards has its own short response.
Sound effects are on by default and follow your phone’s silent mode. Turn them off at any time under Settings → General.
Faster, Clearer, and More Accessible
The Overview now reaches fresh collection data much sooner after a cold start, especially for larger collections. Price data refreshes more reliably when you return to the app, charts handle quiet periods more naturally, and loading states no longer look like an empty collection.
This release also improves screen reader descriptions, text contrast, Dynamic Type support, empty states, and navigation across card details, binders, search, and the scanner.
